03/31/16 - On 3/23, Diane and I went to the Historical Society and someone there was very kind and went into the web site and found some very interesting information regarding the Yutzy family. We even found some Yutzys serving in the civil war and one is buried in a Yutzy cemetery in Pennsylvania. I have some things in print and will bring them to our family reunion. It was quite interesting. The rest of the day was quiet and relaxing. Diane was so nice and did a load of laundry for me so I came home with a suitcase full of clean clothes!! I had a wonderful week with both of them.
On 3/24, I left after lunch around 12:30pm but got into some traffic in Phoenix so finally got home at 4:00pm. Traveling did go well.
3/25 - I unpacked and settled in for the day since tomorrow I will be really busy.
3/26 - My first cousin Onita and her husband Stan from Montana came in for 5 days since it was her
spring break. She is a 2nd grade teacher. They arrived at my Aunt Ada's house around 5:00pm. I had stopped off in the morning and got some groceries and made dinner for all of us when they arrived. We spent the evening catching up with everything.
3/27 - We all went to Easter services, had a great lunch that Aunt Ada prepared. In the afternoon, we planned games and watched some basketball in between the games.
3/28 - We took an all day trip to the east of Phoenix called the Apache Trail . It was really a neat drive and even included some unpaved road. We stopped off at a Goldfield Mining town and found this beautiful little church.
We could just go inside the door
Appeared they are still using it
