06/16/20 - Daniel, Mary Ann and I left for Philadelphia at 6:30 am for a 9 am appointment with Dr. Wilson.  We had the consultation and it was determined that I should also have an x-ray of the ankle, foot and chest.  I did fall on 5/30 at home.  All of a sudden, the leg went totally numb and I hit the side of my foot so it swelled up and now the 4th and little got black and blue but I do have range of motion.  Not real sure why the chest x-ray.  After the consult, Mary Ann and I went down to the radiology department to get ready for the biopsy.  Since my mobility is so limited, they determined that I could actullay have the biopsy in the chair.  I was so glad that I did not have to move.  They took some samples and the pathologist came and inspected them to make sure they were good enough.  She then continued to take six more samples to give the pathologist enough to make a diagnosis. Off to x-ray.  She was able to take a picture of the ankle and foot in the chair but we had to figure something out for the chest and we finally got it accomplished.  Mary Ann helped dress me and we were off to find some lunch.  Of course, we did a drive through and then we headed for home.  We got back around 4:.00 pm.

I have been in my favorite recliner since then.  Christina has arrived to sit with me.  We will have dinner and she will put me to bed.  She surprised me with strawberry milk shake so I won't be eating alot of lasagna that Christina brought over.  Now, of course, we are in a waiting period for the results in a week and up to 10 days.

For the medical personnel in my family, Dr. Wilson stated that he feels that the diagnosis will probably be either carcinoma or lymphoma.  We will wait and see.

06/10/20 - Today was a little bit traumatic for me so I will try to put it in words so my friends and family will know what is happening.  Deborah and I left the house at 7:20 am for a 7:45 am MRI appointment.  When I was prepped for the MRI, I had to lie on my back and then they stretched the leg.  I don't do well on my back and of course the leg started to give me excruciating pain and then it radiated to my back and I had been told that is was a 45 minute test.  They put a cushion like thing to my back but it did not help.  I was told not to move or they could not complete the MRI.  I tried all kinds of breathing methods but ended up hyperventilating and I could not take it anymore when the gentleman told me that the first part of the test was done and now he would put the dye in my vein when he also told me that my breathing was out of control.  I then refused the dye because he felt the images were good enough for the doctor to get a diagnosis.  We quit the test.  Deborah and I got home at 9:15 am and I was wore out.  So, of course ended up in the chair all day until my appointment with the orthro doctor to get the results of the MRI.

The MRI shows a large soft tissue mass on top of my femur and actually goes into part of my pelvis.  Also, showed a non displaced fracture of the femur that is ruled pathologic.  Therefore, I now can not put any weight on that leg so Deborah is going to try and teach me to use a walker.

I have now been referred to orthopedic oncologist in Philadelphia which is between an hour and half to two hours away.  Not sure when I will hear from the doctor's office but will try to be a little aggressive to get started on the treatment.  So back in the recliner I go for most of the time except for times I have to use the walker.

06/04/20   - I need to insert this message before my very last post but don't know how to insert so will just add information.  On 5/27, I finally gave up and went to the ER because I could not get into any primary care office because I would be a new patient. I got a referral to orthopedics and also a referral for a primary care.  The ER felt I had torn a muscle but would need an MRI to actually find out what is going on.
06/04/20 - I had my orthopedic referral consultation visit and learned that I needed to get some lab work because I am scheduled for a MRI with and without contrast next week.  The doctor is looking for a fatty tumor, plain tumor or mass.  Will keep you informed.

5/27/20 - Today, I took the car to a gentleman to see if he can put my old controls on the new car and I need the 3rd brake light fixed and windshield wipers.  When we got there, the gentleman wasn't there but we told the co-worker what we needed so I am hoping for the best.  I then rode along with my brother since he had errands to run.

05/26/20 - I am finally out of quarantine in the state of Delaware.  On 5/22, my brother Daniel and I went to the DMV to get Delaware plates.  They have a state inspection and I failed since I needed windshield wipers and the 3rd brake light in the back was not working.  So I got a temporary license until I can get things repaired.

5/24, I was able to enjoy a Sunday lunch with my brother Daniel and his wife Mary Ann.  My niece Deborah also was there.

5/25, My niece Christina and her husband Jesse had a family gathering for Memorial Day.  Jesse smoked and barbequed pork ribs and a pork butt to make pulled pork.  It was delicious.  Everyone contributed to the rest of the picnic.

Today, I worked on trying to find a family doctor who would take a new patient since my leg is not getting any better and I need to do something since I am so tired of the pain and discomfort.  Well, no one is taking new patients until September!  I finally gave up and went to the ER.  I was examined and they determined that it was not the sciatic nerve because the pain is on the top and side of the thigh but he felt I have torn the big muscle and was kinda determined that I must have had an injury but I don't recall anything like that and I explained that the pain was a gradually pain and not a sudden pain.  Anyway, now I have a referral to an orthopedic physician so I can get an MR I to see how extensive the tear is and where the tear is as well.  Also, they are looking at maybe some physical therapy so who knows.  One day at a time.  I also got a number to call to find a family physician who is taking new patients.  I got some medication to hopefully relieve some of the discomfort and pain while I wait for the next phase of my treatment.  Now, sitting in the lazy boy relaxing and going to play a few games on the computer.

05/14/20 - I have been self quarantining since I got to Delaware because of flying.  So far everything is going good except I am still having alot of pain in my leg but Deborah has been helping me with different excerices and I believe that is actually helping.  I am not in as much pain but still can not walk very far or stand before I have to sit down.  I absolutely hate it that I can't seemingly get better.

Tonight, I was invited for a dinner around the fire pit and since it was outside and I was definitely doing the social distancing, I enjoyed a meal of hamburger, baked beans, potato salad, grilled asparagus.  Everything was delicious.  I have attached a picture:

05/09/20 - On 5/8, I learned that the car would actually be delivered this afternoon, so I call the company to tell the driver to contact my niece, Deborah since I was not even in Delaware.  Later, I learned that they had a flat tire and the car will actually be delivered later.  Aunt Ada and I worked quite a while on finishing a puzzle since she would not finish it.  We cleaned up my room and did the vacuuming of the bedroom, hallway, her bedroom and the living room.  We made some dinner and then sat and relaxed.

5/9, I got up at 6:00 am and finished packing, cleaned up the bathroom and Robyn came over at 7:00 am to take me to the airport.  I am still having a lot of pain in the leg because of the sciatic nerve just does not want to release so decided to order a wheelchair since I knew I would never be able to walk through the airport.  Wehad to check the luggage on the inside instead of curb side so a baggage person, loaded everything up and took it to the counter for me.  Then a wheelchair pusher arrived and I am off to the gate.  We then stopped to get me a diet coke and he left me at the gate since I knew I could walk to the plane.  When I got to the door of the plane, an attendent met me, took all of my luggage and put it under the seat.  I had the whole row to myself.  There were probably only about 25 to 30 of us on the plane.  When you boarded, you were given a while paper bag with a bag of cookies and a bottle of water because they do not do beverage service.  When we landed, the attendent came by and got all of my luggage and took it to the wheelchair waiting outside.  I got pushed to baggage, he picked it up and set me by the window to wait for my ride.  What service.  We were scheduled out at 9:15 am but left at 9:05 am.  We got into Philly at 3:54 pm instead of scheduled time at 5:03 pm!!
My brother picked me up and I got to my niece's house around 7:45 pm.  I plan to do nothing for the next couple of days and then of course I have unpacking to do.  Off to bed.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020

05/06/20 - On 4/23, I made my first call to a broker to see the process of shipping my car back to Delaware.  I just did not feel like driving all that distance by myself and also decided by the time I had hotel expenses, gas expenses, wear and tear on the car, I would prefer to ship her back.  I don't know this car very well and I have not had her checked out by a mechanic so was uneasy to drive across country. The broker took my information and we decided I would be ready to ship on 5/6,7 or 8.  He informed me that he would keep in touch.

5/4 - I got an email and the car would be picked up on 5/6.

5/5 - Robyn came over in the evening and we packed the car with things that I wanted to go to Delaware.  We were unable to get two boxes in, a  beach chair, some blankets and a pillow.  Will ship those things later. The trucking company then gave me the name and number of the truck driver and I did not hear anything so called late and was told that they would call me in the morning regarding the time of their arrival to Surprise, Arizona.  Needless to say, I did not sleep well.

Today, I got up around 5:00 am since I knew they would be here very early.  I got dressed and at 6:21 am, I got a text and they were in the area.  I left Aunt Ada's house immediately and went to Surprise, Arizona where they were picking up the car.  I did not realize that they do "door to door" so I waited at the Target parking lot for further instructions when he texted back and wanted to see the car because they were parked on the street in front of the house!!  Well, we finally got it loaded and then Robyn drove me back to Aunt Ada's house.  Since all my crocheting and adult coloring books are all on the way to Delaware, I got a puzzle to work on to keep me busy for the next 3 days. Pictures attached:

                                                           The truck is loaded

My car is the last one on the bottom

05/01/2020 - I didn't realize that I had not posted for the whole month of April.  Arizona is on lock down so Aunt Ada and I have been staying at home.  I did make several trips to Robyn's house with boxes that will stay in Arizona.  I went to CVS once for Aleve and the grocery store twice to buy one item each time.  Otherwise, I have been staying in with Aunt Ada.  We did make a quick trip to a friend's of Aunt Ada and got 4 puzzles so we had something to keep us occupied.  She put them on a chair in the garage and I went to pick them up.  I did get a mask from my niece to wear when out.

I have been fighting terrible right thigh and knee pain for about two months.  I have done everything I could think to do but only got relief from the pain when sitting.  I first put ice on it but did not take the pain away.  Then I started to use a heating pad which seemed to help us.  I could not get comfortable in bed so have been trying to sleep on the couch but that would only give me a couple of hours.  Last night I finally gave up and ended on the recliner and got 3 hours of sleep.  It seems when I am almost sitting up I get more relief.

Today, I gave up and went to urgent care.  After explaining all of my symptoms she decided it had to be sciatica because she thinks the nerve is very inflammed.  S he gave me some exercises to do, epsom salt bath, and gave me a steriods to start tomorrow.  Hopefully, I will finally get some relief.  I am so tired of the pain.

03/27/20 - Today was a very stressful day for me.  I went over to the RV to finish packing up since the buyer and I were finalizing the sale.  My friends from Denver, Kathy and Mike came over to help me finish up and to witness the finale.  The buyer called and stated that he would be a couple of hours later than we had scheduled so Mike, Kathy and I packed up the refrigerator and freezer and went over to Aunt Ada's and put things away.  We drove back to the RV and waited for the buyer.  He arrived and went over the title line for line and wasn't sure where to sign to make it legal, went out to the car and discussed with father and still not sure but then decided after reading word for word that I should sign at this one place and it should be good.  He came out with cash instead of a cashier's check and I was very skeptical but decided to accept.  We counted it out together and then informed me he wanted to drive it off right now.  I had not unplugged anything since my friend Mike thought the buyer might want to do it himself but that was not the case and soon Mike and I were disconnecting things, storing the levelers and putting in the slides.  The buyer than decided that he wanted to make sure that works and messed it up because the levelers would not go down again and the slides would not move.  I am not sure why but he was turning the engine off and then on.  I told him he had to wait overnight for things to get back to normal.  I hope things work out but I am trying to distance myself from today's happenings and move on.  I did immediately go to the bank and they reported the cash was good and available.  Kathy, Mike and I found a Chinese restaurant for take out and ended up with a picnic in the car!!  I said my thanks and good byes and now I am at Aunt Ada's with a mess in the garage that needs to be sorted to stay in Arizona or to be packed in the car to go to Delaware!!

Sunday, March 22, 2020

03/22/20 - On 3/21, I did some more packing, went to the Goodwill and then my friend Neal decided since we can't really do much, he would make some dinner and we would try to stay 6 feet from each other but still enjoy each other.  He had a great dinner of lasagna.  We had a good visit.

Today, I packed up the car with small items and left overs from the refrigerator since I will be staying with Aunt Ada for the next four days so Robyn can fullfil her responsibilities with the nursing students.  Aunt Ada is going quite well but still uses the walker for stability.

Friday, March 20, 2020

03/20/20 - On 3/18, Aunt Esther got up around 4:00 am so she could take time to eat some breakfast before we leave for the airport at 5:10 am.  We had to leave a little early since I was told not to drive over 45 mph with the donut tire.  I was also told to drive on side streets.  I got Aunt Esther off for Ohio.  She told me flight from Phoenix to Chicago was completely full but flight from Chicago to Cleveland only had 12 passengers.  I got back to the RV, and fell asleep on the couch for a while.  Later in the afternoon, I went to Discount Tire, got the tire repaired, to Verizon to recyle a jet pack and to Walmart to get a new water regulator since I am having problems with water pressure. It has been raining so I decided to do some more packing.

3/19 - Put regulator on and has not made a difference so not sure what is going on.  Did alot of packing and had things all over the place.  What a mess.

Today, Mike and Kathy came over and WOW, did they ever make a difference.  I am so thankful for wonderful friends who happen to be parked in another RV park for the month.  We loaded up both cars, drove over to Aunt Ada's house and filled up her garage.  We then stopped and got take out for lunch, did a few more things and they left and I rested. I now have written a birthday card and need to warm something up for dinner.  I am done for the evening!!

Tuesday, March 17, 2020

03/17/20 - Aunt Esther did some laundry.  I wrote a birthday card. I had lunch plans with good friends of mine from Denver, Colorado who are RV'ers and for the month March are parked in Mesa, Arizona.  They decided to come over to my neighbor so we went to a mexican restaurant.  I had a great lunch a great visit.  I have attached a picture:

                                             Mike, myself and Kathy

In the afternoon Aunt Esther started to do some more packing.  She helped with all the shelves that are up high and now I only have to finish the ones that are at my level.  We had several items to take to Goodwill and I had the window open and felt that I heard something in my tire and of course was hoping for a stone.  Well, we got home and I kinda forgot about it and we moved boxes out to the car when I decided to see if I could see anything.  Oh, my a nail in my tire!!  Of course, now it is a little after 6:00 pm and things are closed.  I am so disappointed and the tire was already low and I am to take Aunt Esther to the airport at 5:00 am in the morning.  I then got all the boxes out of the trunk and learned I had a donut tire in the trunk so I called AAA and he came out and changed the tire for me.  I will then have it repaired tomorrow afternoon.  What a day!!!

03/17/20 - O3/13, Aunt Esther and I went to a party for the paramedics that service the park.  It was very interesting and we had refreshments.

3/15 - Aunt Esther and I went over to Aunt Ada's and Robyn for lunch.  To avoid the crowds we decided to order mexican take out so ate at Aunt Ada's house.  In the afternoon, we finished a puzzle we had started earlier.  Later in the afternoon, my phone rang but I was unable to pick it up in time so waited for a message. It was Mike calling back to let me know that he was driving by the RV and noticed that I was still there and am I still interested in selling the RV. I got a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. Was this truly the guy that stopped by last fall and I promised that I would not sell without giving him first chance.  I was so shocked that I could not even call him back.  I did a lot of soul searching and no sleep for the night.

3/16 - I finally called Mike back and explained that I had been negotiating with a Mike whole had stopped by two weeks ago but had a different number and later in the week, he told me his name was Matt.  I then asked Mike if he had told anyone else about the possible sale of the RV and stated absolutely "NO".  So  none of us know how this other couple got into the mix.  I told him that it was still on for sale and told me he would like to come by later in the afternoon and look at the RV again.  He came around 3:30 in the afternoon.  He was definitely interested but remember the air conditioning problem and had I repaired it and I stated "no"  so he wanted a little less for the RV since he would have to put in a new air conditioner which runs at least $3000.  Then he had me undone the covers for the wheels and checked them out for dry rot and sure enough he found some so now I would need to put new tires on so now I am again.  I called my brother Daniel advice since I was not sure if I should repair and put on new tires or sell it as is with less money.  We both felt it was better to take less money and sell as is.  Mike agreed, gave me a cash deposit and requested that I vacate as soon as possible.  I informed him that I would need at least two weeks.  Aunt Esther and I started to fill a few boxes that I had and took them over to Aunt Ada's garage and went to Robyn's house for more boxes.

Tuesday, March 10, 2020

03/10/20 - Well, my emotions  been all over the place for the past few days.  On either 3/4 or 3/5, I got a call from the gentleman who wanted to buy the RV and all of a sudden his named changed from Mike (that he had written down) to Matt so I was not sure I was talking to the same guy but he kept insisting.  Then he told me that he could only come up with $17,000 cash but I had told him that I was selling it for $20,000.  He then called back and told me he had $18,000 but I told him I was still needing $20,000.  I then did not hear from him at all.  I called him on 3/9 and told him to call me back since I needed to know if the sale was going to happen.  I had to leave a message and did not hear from him all day.  I tried one more time in the late afternoon, then his voice mail box was full and I could not leave a message.  Just because, I decided to call about 10:00 pm and he answered but stated unless I would take $18,000 he would be unable to buy it.  I told him I was still looking for $20,000 so the RV is NOT sold at this time. Now, will have to decide what to do before May 1st.

Monday, March 2, 2020

03/02/20 - On 3/1, Aunt Esther and I did some talking about things that would happen if I sold the RV within the next two weeks.  We packed to spend 3 1/2 days with Aunt Ada since Robyn had needed to take care of clinical with her students and she has very early hours and long days. Aunt Ada is doing well.  She uses the walker and does well.

Today, I had a talk with my brother, Daniel and then finally got up the courage to talked with the guy who wants the RV and we have made a verbal agreement to meet on March 14th for the finally sale.  I have been advice to put things in writing which I will do.  I am now working through all the changes in my life since the end of February.  I knew there would be changes since I had planned to sell the RV this summer in Delaware but since I had this opportunity, it seems that things are falling into place for the next chapter in my life.  Many changes ahead!!!

002/28/20 - On 2/26, Aunt Esther and I spent most of the day with Aunt Ada so Robyn could run errands and go home for a while.

2/27 - We put my portable controls on the Toyota and took the rental car back.  Today is the first day that I drove it.  It went OK.  Just need to get use to it.

2/28 - Today we met with the Progressive insurance adjustor and I learned that they valued my Honda at $2806.00. I was so surprised because it was much more than what the Kelly Blue Book value.  I had to paid my $500.00 deductible so got a check for $2306.00.  That will help to pay for the Toyota.  I have named her Thelma.  We were home for a short time when Robyn called and asked if we could come over since Aunt Ada's TV quit and she needed to go and buy a new one and have help to put the old one in the car.  Just before we left, she called again and stated that the lawn guy helped her put the TV in the car and that we could come a little later and sit with Aunt Ada and then help get the new together.  We left around 4:45 pm for home.  When we got here, there was a black pick up truck parked in front of the driveway so I had to wait a minute for him to move forward.  There was a female writing a note on the front of the RV so when I parked in the driveway, she came over with the note.  I learned that it was Mike who back in the fall wanted to buy the RV but I told them that it would not be ready until the end of April.  Now, they are still interested but need it no later than March 15 since they need to be in Colorado.  The female also informed me that their house burned down and they have nothing left and are staying in a motel.  Could I please consider selling it the middle of March instead of the middle of April. She also told me that I could leave anything that I don't want in the RV since they are starting over.  So instead of driving things to Goodwill, I can just leave them in the RV.    I told them I needed to think about it and would get back to them within the week.  So now I really have alot of decisions to make.

Tuesday, February 25, 2020

02/25/20 -  Aunt Esther and I did some grocery shopping and then came back for lunch.  In the early afternoon, we headed out to shop for cars.  I had done alot of research yesterday so had made a list of cars and places to go.  We started at the used dealer ship that I had listed 4 different cars to see if there would be something there to keep us from driving all over town.  The first car turned out to be a stick shift, the 2nd car was older and had a lot of small scrapes and minor dents, the 3rd car did not have cruise control so now I am down to the 4th car.  It has a few minor problems but I did end up buying it.  It is a 2007 Scion Toyota, 117,000 miles on it, one owner.  I sure hope it will be a good car for me.  I have attached two pictures:

Monday, February 24, 2020

02/24/20 - Today, Aunt Esther and I went car shopping and of course the one I was really interested in sold this week end but they failed to tell me when I called to make sure it was there.  We also went to another car dealership to look at a Honda Civic when I learned that they had installed a different gas petal and I would not be able to put on my extentions so that ended quickly.  He was trying to sell me a PT Cruiser!!  Tomorrow, another day.  I have a list to see if we can find one tomorrow.

Sunday, February 23, 2020

02/23/20 - On 2/21, I packed an overnight bag left at 10:30 pm to meet up with Lina, Eric and Jeff who were flying in from Los Angeles for the week end.  We are meeting at a hotel in Maricopa, Arizona that is about 38 miles from me.  I expected them around midnight but Lina called and stated they had problems with the rental car and it would be later.  We finally met up about 1:00 am.  When we got to the room, we soon learned that it had not been cleaned properly so ended up with another room which turned out to be OK. Off to bed.

2/22 - Got up early since our schedule was to be at the Peoria Sports Complex around 10:00 am since Eric and Jeff learned that they could get close to the Padre players while they were practicing before the game.  Well, it started to rain before we even left the hotel so we were not sure what was going to happen. On our way over, we learned part of the freeway was shut down so we had a long detour and it took us a long time to get to the complex. Well, it has been raining and we were not sure if there even would be a game but decided to still drive over to the complex to see it even though they might not play because of the rain.  We stopped for breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then off to the complex.  We learned about an hour before the game that it was cancelled.  Lina, Eric and Jeff were allow to go and see the stadium and then they did some shopping at the team store. We learned that the Padres are playing tomorrow at another sports complex so Eric got tickets for the game. We left and back to the hotel.  We had a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant.  Off to bed since we have a big day tomorrow.

2/23, Eric and Jeff got up really early and left for the sports complex to see if they could see the Padres practice before the game.  Since the sports complex was the home of the Milwaukee Brewers they were the only ones on the practice field.  Poor Eric and Jeff were so disappointed.  Lina and I joined them just before the game started.  We had snacks for lunch and watched the game until the 9th inning.  The padres won the game so that was a nice feeling.  They left for the airport and I left to come home.  Had a wonderful week end.  I have attached two pictures:

Lina and I had the ball park by our seats

02/20/20 - Today started out as an ordinary day but in the afternoon things changed drastically since Aunt Esther did not see the car in front of her had slowed down and we were also slowing down but then the car stopped and she did not stop!  We were not going very fast, so no one was hurt and the other driver was very nice about the whole thing.  My car needed to be towed because the hood crumbled and busted the radiator.  Progressive insurance is telling me because of the age and value of the car they will probably total it so now I will start looking for a used car!!

02/16/20 - Today, Aunt Esther and I took lunch over to Aunt Ada's.  Aunt Ada is able to take a few steps with her walker but still very careful.  This afternoon, we played some games together and then Aunt Ada went to sit in the recliner and Robyn, Aunt Esther and I worked on a puzzle.  Aunt Ada seems to be in good spirits.

Saturday, February 15, 2020

02/15/20 - On 2/14, Aunt Esther and I went to a women's luncheon at the Nazarene church.  Aunt Ada had gotten tickets for all three of us to go but of course because of the fall the day before she was unable to go.  After the luncheon, we went to Aunt Ada's house to wait for her and Robyn since Robyn had informed us that she would be coming home in the afternoon.  We learned from Robyn that after a physical therapy consultation that most of her follow up treatment could be done at home.  Because of that she was discharged.  Robyn stopped to get a bedside commode and a wheel chair before they came home.  We got her settled in the chair and then Aunt Esther and I stayed while Robyn went  home to pack some things since she would be staying with Aunt Ada.  Aunt Ada will have out patient physical therapy, home care, and occuptional therapy.  The healing will take some time but she is doing OK. We had dinner with Aunt Ada and when Robyn came back, we were able to leave for home.

Thursday, February 13, 2020

02/13/20 - Today, I got a call from Robyn and she was on her way to her mother's house (Aunt Ada) because she fell and could not get up.  Robyn asked if Aunt Esther and I could come over as well since she was further away than we were.  I was not even dressed yet so took us a minute to get out of the house.  Anyway, Robyn did get there just before we arrived.  Aunt Ada was unable to move her left leg so Robyn call 911 and had her transported to the ER.  We followed Robyn to the ER and stayed until late afternoon after an x-ray and CT scan. We learned that Aunt Ada had a non displaced trocanter fracture on the left.  The ER physician has requested a consultation with the orthopedic surgeon and Robyn was waiting for his opinion as to whether she needed surgery or not or what the treatment will be for Aunt Ada.  I will keep everyone informed.

Tuesday, January 14, 2020

1/14/20 - On 1/7, Aunt Esther joined me for the winter.

1/8, We went over to Aunt Ada's for the afternoon.  We started a puzzle and had dinner with her. I have been fighting a cold that is lingering.

1/12, Decided not to go to church because I don't want to expose the elderly at church but did join Robyn and Aunt Ada for lunch.  We played games and then came home.

1/13, Ran some errands since I had to pick up a prescription.  It has warmed up enough to actually sit outside.

1/6/20 - On  12/24, I got a call and Robyn is really sick and will not be able to join Aunt Ada and I for Christmas.

12/25 - I went to Aunt Ada's for the afternoon.  We put a puzzle together and had soup and sandwiches for dinner.  Later, I went over to Robyn's house since I was spending the night.

12/26 - In the afternoon, I was very miserable since I was prepping for a colonoscopy.

12/27 - I had the colonoscopy at 10:30 am.  I went back to Robyn's house to rest and then came home in the evening.

12/29 - Robyn is feeling better so we got together to enjoy our belated Christmas dinner.

1/1 - Went to Aunt Ada's and Robyn came over and we finished the puzzle and had soup and sandwiches for dinner.

It has finally warmed up a little and I have actually been able to sit outside and read in the late afternoon.
