03/01/16 - 2/26, I decided to light the candle outside on a stand and sit and enjoy the warm weather when I went back into the RV to go to the bathroom and then my sister, Rachel called and we talked for quite a while. During all that time, my huge 3 wick candle was still burning outside. I then took a shower, got ready to go out to dinner with friends and when I got outside to leave, this is the mess that I found!!

Oh, Lena! That is a mess! Those things slip up on you! I had my family here one Easter, and I had a candle burning on top of the dryer. It was so pretty, with a new spring candle ring. I smelled something BURNING, and started looking and that thing had melted down, caught the candle ring, ruined the doily. Oh, was I ever sick! And I don't think I could salvage anything! It sounds like you must have gotten through without too much permanent damage -- a LOT of hard work, but if things were saved, that means something, too. Love you!
