03/26/16 - I need to start blogging or I will forget everything I did in Tubac.  It was a wonderful visit with Diane and Dick Brooks.

3/17 - I left at 12:30pm for Tubac and anticipated a 2 1/2 hour drive but before I even got out of Phoenix there was an accident on I-10 so of course that was a delay.  I am not sure when I arrived but it was a good, safe trip.  We shared a glass of wine and then Diane had made corn beef and cabbage for dinner which was delicious.

3/18 - Diane's daughter Denise who lives in Tucson, came down for the day.  It was so nice to see her again because it had been quite a while.  I forgot the name of it, but there was some kind of festival with the artist around the little town of Tubac.  I wanted to get some things at a kitchen store that has a little of everything.  After my purchase, we walked around a little bit but then decided to have lunch at Wisdom's.  It was a great lunch.  We stopped off at the golf country club to see one of Diane's friends that was displaying his jewelry.  Back to the house to relax.  A friend was there to get some plants from Diane so we had a nice visit.  Denise left for Tucson and we relaxed.

3/19 - There was a Tubac Historical Society Annual picnic and since Diane is on the board, she needed to go a little earlier and help set up.  They had a barbecue. The picnic was located at what use to be the Old Amado Elementary Schoolhouse but a Blake family has bought the property and turned it into living quarters. It was quite interesting because of all the antique collections the family have acquired.  The grounds were beautiful including a rather large fountain/water fall area.

3/20 - Diane and Dick had a golfing obligation and so I stayed at home and relaxed, read the paper, had a few phone calls, lunch and in the afternoon we just relaxed which was great.
