02/25/18 - On 2/22, I had an appointment with an optometrist to confirm a diagnosis that I felt has been progressing for awhile and sure enough the right eye has a bad cataract and the left eye has had to do all the work. I then had some testing done and he suggested that I do both eyes so that is the plan. I now need an appointment with the ophthalmologist and get scheduled for surgery after that appointment.
Today, went to church and lunch with Aunt Ada and Cousin Robyn. We then worked on a puzzle this afternoon. We have had some cold weather so I am anxious for it go it a little warmer next week.

02/18/18 - On 2/17, I went to a 60th barbecue for my friend Neal. It was very nice since all his siblings were there and I had not seen some of them for quite a while. We had a nice visit.

02/07/18 - On 1/28, I went to church with my friend Neal and the had dinner at a mexican restaurant.
1/31, I had lunch with my friend Jim and toured his house. He bought a new condo since my last visit. It is really nice. Has a lot of stairs since it is 3 stories with the 3rd story being a roof top patio.
In February, I have been spending more time with Aunt Ada. I suggested that we put out a puzzle. We have been working on a 1000 piece and it has been alot of fun and gives us something to do together since she does alot of quilting and I don't quilt. Yesterday, we went to see a movie, worked on the puzzle and then spent the night since I wanted to get my income taxes done.
Today I got up at 7 00 am and left Aunt Ada's house at 7 25 am and got to the income tax place at 7 35 am. I was told they open at 8 00 am so thought I would wait in line. They only take 25 people and I was number 22!! Anyway, it is an AARP place and is staffed by all volunteers who are experience in completing income tax forms. Anyway, they were short staff and it was 11 45 am before I was done but am glad that is behind me. Went back to Aunt Ada's, had a quick lunch, then worked on the puzzle all afternoon. We had dinner together and I am now relaxing for the evening.
