03/01/16 - On 2/27, I did work on getting some of the wax off the cement, off the stand and off the quilted runner.  The sun shines on that side in the afternoon so it becomes too warm to do much so I decided to finish things Monday.

2/28 - Went to church with Aunt Ada and Robyn and then we went out for Chinese food.  I then stayed at Aunt Ada's since there was a gospel concert at church at 5:00pm.  It was the Brown family from Iowa. The group included Mom, two brothers and a sister.  They also played fiddle and violins and was a great concert.

2/29 - It took quite a while to get the wax out of the quilted runner.  First I picked off as much as I could and then used a lot of paper bags and a hot iron to get as much as the wax off as possible.  Then I used really hot water and soap and wash it and now is as good as new.

3/1- This morning, I took really hot water and soap and washed down the cement on the patio to get rid of the remaining wax.  I also washed the stand and rinsed everything and now everything is back in its place and I will try to remember when I have a candle burning.  On Sunday, Aunt Ada gave me another one but it is not near as big!!
