03/24/2018 - On 3/18 Sue packed a few things and went to stay with her friend Kay's house for a couple of days. I did things around the RV including starting a puzzle.
3/19, Went to bank and post office to mail a book to my niece, Anna Rose.
3/20, Woke up at 7 35 am and was in the bathroom the next two 1//2 hours with abdominal cramps and diarrhea. About a half and hour later, I was back in the bathroom but this time it was vomiting which lasted for the next couple of hours. I did a lot of sleeping off and on and finally in the late afternoon, decided to try to drink a few sips of water. Things seemed to settle a little so a little more water and that was all for the day. Went to bed earlier so got alot of sleep.
3/21, Up this morning and feeling better. I made an egg and toast and it seemed to stay down. I did not do much besides resting and sleeping again. In the evening, I tried a half bagel and it stayed as well. We had plans to go out for pizza but that never happened. Off to bed.
3/22, I had planned to go with Sue to visit a friend mid morning and then lunch also with one of her friends but I just did not feel good enough to do all those activities so I stayed home. Sue came back in the afternoon and packed her suitcase since we were leaving early the next morning. Early to bed.
3/23, We got up and left for the airport at 3 50 am. It is about a 40 mile drive but we had no traffic so on a good schedule. I came home and put the blanket, pillow and comforter. I then worked a little on the puzzle. In the afternoon, I went to Aunt Ada's and helped put her puzzle together. We had soup and 1/2 sandwich or dinner and then went to a concert at church. Right behind us sat acquaintances from Plain City, Ohio (Salina and Richard Christner) so had a little chat. Was good to see them again. Back to Aunt Ada's for a small bowl of ice cream and home.
Today, I got up late, worked on puzzle for a while, eat some leftovers will do a little crocheting, play on the computer and that will end my day.

03/17/2018 - On 3/12, I drove to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport which is about 40 miles one way to pick up a distant cousin/friend, Sue who will be visiting for two weeks. She came flew in late afternoon.
3/13, we did some grocery shopping and she had some friends to visit.
3/15, I made corned beef and cabbage and Sue and I took it over to Aunt Ada's for dinner. We went early in the afternoon to help with a puzzle, then had dinner. Robyn was able to come over as well. She gave me the prolia shot which I purchase every six months for osteoporosis. It is preventative care.
3/16, Sue and I took pizza over to our friend Neal's house since he has done some remodeling of his house and wanted to show it to us. We had a great visit.
Today, she is meeting up with some friends and this evening we have plans to go out for mexican food.

03/08/18 - On 3/5, we did some grocery shopping for them to take with them on the train and passed some time playing Rummy Q before heading over to Aunt's Ada house for dinner. Aunt Ada knows Edna's mother so Edna wanted to meet her. We returned back to the RV and Edna made some sandwiches and did some packing. We decided we needed to go to bed early but of course had a hard time so Edna and stayed off for quite a while and had a nice conversation and finally decided to try to sleep at 9 40 pm.
03/06 - The alarm went off at 1 45 am since we wanted to be on the road by 2 15am to head for Flagstaff to meet the train at 5 31am. We had a nice trip and I waited until they boarded the train and then left for Phoenix. I got to Aunt Ada's house at a little before 8 00am. I then tried to stay awake for a 9 20 am appointment. I was scheduled for a visual field test which was needed before they told me they would even think to schedule the cataract surgery. I then went home, put some things away, sat for a minute and the rest of the day is history. I am not sure how many hours I slept but it was a lot. I had planned to do laundry since I had bed sheets to wash but just ended up sleeping on the couch.
3/7, Finished putting things away, did three loads of laundry and made the bed so I had a place to sleep for the night.
3/8, Had lunch with my friend, Neal. It was his birthday lunch. We had a great time. Now need to put the rest of the laundry away and make a chicken casserole for dinner tomorrow night.

03/06/18 - On /26, I got a call from a first cousin (Edna) from Iowa wanting to know if she and her husband could come for a visit and they would arrive late on Thursday night. I was so excited but then had to cancel my visit to my friends Diane and Dick in Tubac (south of Tucson). I then started to get the RV in order.
2/28, I did some cleaning in the RV and got some things done before Edna and Junior arrive.
3/1, Left Phoenix at 6 30pm and headed for Flagstaff, Arizona to pick up Edna and Junior. They are my Amish cousin so arrive by train. I had a little over two hours traveling time. I got there in plenty of time and then train was late by 20 minutes. Before the train arrived, I got a phone call and there was another individual on the train that also was trying to get to Phoenix. Martha had reservations to travel by bus to Phoenix and she learned about an hour earlier there was a problem and the bus was cancelled until the next morning. She then asked if I had room to take her and I was very concerned about too much luggage since I had forgotten to empty out my trunk. I told her if we can get everything in, I would be happy to take her. She had a huge piece of luggage and a smaller one but Edna had several small ones. We moved things around and put luggage between Edna and Junior in the back and Martha held some of her smaller pieces and we made it. She had a ride in Phoenix so we met at a gas station. We got home about 12 30am, got settled in and off to bed.
3/2, I had to get up at 5 45am because I had an ophthalmology consultant to get scheduled for the cataract surgery. I soon learned that there are many other things that will happen before that schedule will happen. First was an appointment with the primary care doctor to get an EKG and lab work done and then a schedule for another visual field test. I got home, Edna was making some breakfast and we decided that they might know some other snow birds in the area so we planned to go for a visit. I then called the primary care to make an appointment ASAP since I had no idea how long that was going to take. I was very lucky and there is a new female physician in the office and they had an appointment at 3pm. I could not believe it. We went out for lunch and then I dropped off Edna and Junior so they could visit while I had my doctor's appointment. Because we had a huge lunch we just kinda snacked for dinner. Edna loves to put puzzles together so we went to the club house and found a 1000 piece. We really had a great time putting it together. Off to bed
