02/26/16 - On 2/23, I had to return for an additional sleep study and that night slept with a cpap machine which is attached to your nose and is suppose to breathing and sleeping. Now, I have an appointment with the doctor on 3/15 to discuss the next course of action!
2/24, Went to Robyn's house for an excellent dinner with Aunt Ada. I was rather tired since I did not sleep well so went home right after dinner. Otherwise, there is no additional news.

2/22/16 - On 2/19 I went with Aunt Ada and Debbie (Uncle Lee's niece that is visiting) to lunch at Mimi's Cafe. It was very nice to get re-acquainted with Debbie since our paths do not cross very often.
2/21, I went to church with Aunt Ada and then out to lunch and Robyn joined us. Since Robyn is really busy in her final semester of her doctorate program, I spent the night with Aunt Ada.
2/22, Aunt Ada had an ophthalmology appointment this morning that included dilating her eyes so we were not sure she could drive herself home so I went with her to the appointment. The appointment was successful and her eyes are in great shape. We then had lunch and I left to come home. I did an oil change at Jiffy Lube about two weeks ago and the last two Sundays that I parked at Aunt Ada's I would leave a little bit of oil on her driveway. So on my way home today, I stopped to have them check it and there was a faulty gasket and they replaced it for nothing so hopefully no more leaking oil in her driveway. I came home and checked in the office to inform that plans had changed and I would not be pulling out the RV and heading for Tucson in March and I would be parked until May 31st. I will make a trip to Tucson but will just drive the car down. I then processed to stow the awning since they are predicting some gusty winds tonight and the dumb thing acted like it did not have enough electricity to roll up so I went to the office and asked for the maintenance guy to see if he could give it an extra push. It took a minute but finally started to roll up but very slow so not sure what the problem is. Will see what happens when I decide to put it back out. Oh, well another day at the RV!!

2/15/16 - On 2/9, I had a sleep study to make sure I am not dealing with sleep apnea. It was very different since I did not feel I slept at all. I had so many wires all over the place and had to basically sleep in one position. The technician was not the friendliest thing in the world and I am suppose to get results in two weeks so will make an appointment with the physician.
2/12 - I went over to Aunt Ada's and decided to spend the night since we had quite a few plans for 2 days. Today, we had a church luncheon for women. The food was great and they had a duet to entertain. They were brothers out of Nashville and one played the guitar and the other one planned many different flute type instruments and other instrument was a xylophone. He also could whistle tunes. I would say he was quite talented. In the evening we went back to the church for a gospel concert with a quartet and they were really good.
2/13 - We went to the Broadway dinner theatre matinee to see "Carousel". It was very well done and I enjoyed it very much.
2/14 - I went to church with my friend Neal, Ronny and Ronny's nephew who is visiting and after church we went out for mexican food which was delicious.
Today, need to do some cleaning in the RV and relax!!

2/5/16 - The other night I remember another sightseeing event we did in Fort Myers but of course I don't remember what day. Any way, we toured the Edison-Ford estates. It was really interesting. It started with Edison finding the property and building two separate houses and the second one was for his friend Gilliland but then Henry Ford became friends and bought the house and was used as a winter home. Thomas Edison also put a lab on the property to find raw material that would make rubber for the tires for the cars. They had a museum on the property and was very interesting at all the things Edison created and had patented. It was extremely interesting.
2/3 - I went with Aunt Ada to the ophthalmology office to check and see why I was unable to see small print clearly. It seemed I had a lot of blurred vision even with my glasses. Well, I learned that in two years my eyes have made drastic changes and my right eye is much worse than the left eye so they were able to create a prescription for glasses with two different strengths. He did state that I am starting a little cataract in both eyes but not near ready yet for surgery which was news. Since my frames are still in good shape, they are able to use the frames with the new prescription. When I got back to the RV, I found a bag of lemons on a chair!
2/4 - I was in Scottsdale visiting my friend Kari. We went to see "45 years" which was based in England. It was an interesting movie. We also had an early dinner and some Chai tea to finish off the evening.
Today, I am in the process of making lemon juice with all my lemons. Aunt Ada was in the area so she stopped by for a few minutes so that was very nice.

2/2/16- Not much has been happening the last couple of days except we had quite the rain/wind storm and now it is cold. It has been getting down in the high 30's and then the high for the day has been only 50 to 56 degrees. So that is quite cold for me!! Yesterday, I did make a big pot of chili and today I made the rhubarb pie. It is always good to cook and bake during cold days because it helps to keep the RV warmer!!
I forgot to mention in a previous blog about an experience I had when I was flying back from Fort Myers. All the years that I have been flying, this never happened to me and I still not quite sure what instigated it. But as I was boarding the flight from Fort Myers to Charlotte, North Carolina when a gentleman sitting in the last row on the aisle in first class, stopped me and asked what seat I was schedule to occupy and I told him that is was 17A. He then unbuckled his seat belt and told me that he wanted me to sit in first class and he would sit in 17A. I was so shocked but reassured him that I was totally fine with my seat assignment. It was quite unusual.
