05/26/18 - On 5/15 we docked at Homer, Alaska.  We had schedule a tour to see a working farm but it was cancelled so we just took a shuttle into town which had 3 different drop offs.  We stopped at the second one and walked a block or so and did some shopping.  A little cold and rainy off and on.  Back to the ship.

5/16 - We docked at Kodiak, Alaska and had a tour scheduled at 7 15 am so we got up really early to be ready.  Tour included Russian Orthodox Church, Russian Dance and Russian tea.  It was windy and rainy but OK since we would be inside most of the time.  We met our tour guide and driver of a shuttle that holds 25 and there was 21 of us.  She gave us a little information and then her vehicle would not start.  Poor thing tried and tried but no luck.  She is an independent tour guide so there was no other form of transportation available since there would lot of other tours.  Back to the cabin and off to bed for a little more sleep.  Well, that basically made it for a very lazy day.

5/17 - Sailing day across the Gulf of Alaska and this included a stop off at Hubbard Glacier which was beautiful.  We spent most of our time up in the club on the front of the ship to take in the Glacier.  It never did any moving so we could not see big splashes in the water.  We did see some brown bears along the coast line on our way back.  On our way out of the fjord, we met up with Princess Cruise line that was waiting to get into the fjord.

Glacier ahead - about 6 stories high
