7/4/15 - On 7/3, My sister Rachel and I left her house at 2:55am to meet up with friends of hers that were traveling to the Rochester, New York airport and since it is quite a distance, I decided to travel with them instead of having my sister make the trip 4 hours later.  The driver did over sleep and we did not leave their house until 3:40am.  There flight was out at 5:15am but the airport is small and they did OK.   I found a couch to settle into and slept for about an hour and half and then went to the counter to see if I could get a better schedule but soon learned it would cost me another 25,000 miles to make any changes so just waited it out.  We left Rochester at 9:38am and arrived in Philadelphia at 10:55am.  I then found the gate, found some food and got the computer out to past time since I was not leaving until 3:30pm.  We left at 3:30pm and arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina at 5:00pm.  After arriving, I soon learned that my flight to Denver was delayed by one hour due to mechanical problems in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  So we finally left Charlotte at 9:15pm and arrived in Denver at 10:45 but until I had luggage, Annie and I finally got back to her house a little before midnight.

Today, we are taking it easy.  Annie is making baked beans and brownies to take to a cook out across the street.  I have been invited so plan to attend.  Not sure when we are going to check out the RV but not until Sunday afternoon or I will go by myself on Monday and then will know my schedule for Yellowstone.

Oh, Lena. I miss you! It's a quiet, uneventful Sunday afternoon -- the first one we've had since the first one after you came on May 14th or 15th -- no company, leftovers for lunch, (Yellow Squash Casserole, herbed red potatoes, sliced tomatoes, grilled Portabella Mushrooms and hamburgers, sliced Swiss Cheese - aren't you hungry?) Beebs is sleeping because she had a TERRIBLE night last night, with only three hours of sleep -- she got up, went to church, came home and crashed into her bed without lunch -- getting ready for another 16 hour shift tonight. (Things are REALLY CRAZY AND I'M NOT KIDDING at her job) Rach helped with lunch, did the majority of the clean up on the kitchen, and now has headed for a nap. I watered some flowers, got the paper (we really got used to YOU getting the mail and the paper! :() and now Daniel is watching a game and we are getting ready for Uncle Eli's viewing tonight with the funeral tomorrow. We have out of state company for the week ahead (Jesse's brother, Joel and his wife Althea and their two little boys, Zeph and Kenneth) and the week looks full. Funeral tomorrow, starting on Mama's house on Tuesday and any spare time that we have we want to help get the trailer ready before the wedding on Saturday. See what you are missing??? I would say that your schedule looks a bit more advantageous than ours. Can I come live with you? By the way, I surely do love you! I hope you get some lovely rest. Thank you again for your kindness and help to me over the last six weeks. It was a God-thing, for sure, but you had a choice in the matter, and your willing spirit was as big a gift as anything. So thanks again so much!

Thanks for all the comments and the update. I will miss you guys as well since there was a lot of hussle bussle around but am hoping soon you and Daniel will have a little time to smell the roses. We got the RV out of storage and brought it down to my friends house today. It will sit until I leave on Wednesday morning. It is parked across the street at a friends house because they have been thinking about buying one and were very anxious to see if they had room to park it and we learned they do. So now I can do some cleaning, put clothes away, refill the refrigerator and be set for Wednesday morning. It is much better than piling up the car and driving the 1/2 hour across time. Since I took it out today, they did not charge me anything for the month of July.

Did Daniel find out anything about the last calf? I am anxious to hear what they found.

Love you and think of you often as I know you are missing your mother very much. I sure hope the trip to New York was good for you and you don't regret the decision.
