01/14/19 - Got new computer in mail so will do some blogging.
1/1/19 - Aunt Esther and I went to visit Aunt Inez to say goodbye since we are hoping to leave on 1/3. We then went to Esther Miller's house for dinner and played some games and said our "goodbyes".
1/2 - The repair guy came by and put in the new alternator and then did some checking to make sure things were working and then informed me that my engine batteries were old enough that it would drain the new alternator but he had to do some other things and would I meet him at his wholesale store and buy the batteries since he really does not do batteries and Florida had a law about not be certified. I agreed. Aunt Esther and I then went back to the UPS store and mailed the old computer to Delaware. Before we left the UPS store, Josh called me and stated that we needed to meet him at the wholesale store. Batteries were purchased and he put them in for me and Aunt Esther and I got ready to leave tomorrow.
1/3 - We left at 10:30 am. We had a great trip and things went well. We stopped for gas and lunch and got to Walmart at 5:37 pm and parked for the night.
1/4 - Early this morning, it started raining and rained really hard for quite awhile. We took off at 8:30 am and I drove in the rain for about an hour and half and then we had a good trip. We got to Biloxi, Mississippi at 2:50 pm. I had called and was informed that they had a lot of rain the last two days and it was very wet so she requested that we come in as early as possible. The gentleman in the office signed me in and took me to the site. Aunt Esther and I got things set up before it started to get dark. The campground is very small but is good for us. The staff is very friendly and has been good. We are now in the Central time zone.
For my information: From Bradenton to Biloxi it was 631 miles.
1/10 - I got up and learned that I had a very wet rug by the refrigerator. I went outside and checked for leaks where I had them before and everything was dry so I had no idea what in the world was going on. We started putting down towels to dry I went to the office and got a card for a mobile repairman man and he came out in the afternoon and looked at everything and found out the little draining tray in the refrigerator was broken off. Off course because of the age of the RV, we are going to have some difficulty getting the part. But I will keep hoping he will find one.
1/12 - We ran some errands and did some exploring of the beach area. It has been very COLD here so I am not wanting to get out very much at all. We have been running the heater alot but are surviving.
Today, I have done some crocheting, Aunt Esther decided to do a load of laundry but other wise we are just to stay warm
