9/23/17 - On 9/21, I was scheduled to meet up with my friend Judy for lunch but then I learned from my nephew Pete that he was delivering dog kennels to an animal shelter in the north county and I decided I wanted to meet him and say "HI" because I knew we would not have much time. I was informed that they should be at the shelter around 8 30 am so I knew that I had to get an early start since I had about 30 miles north. Later, I got a text from his wife Lawanda (who travels with him) that they are in a traffic jam and not moving at all so not to be in a hurry. Since I was up already and not sure of traffic I decided to take off and just wait for them. Later, she texted me and they were out of the traffic jam but now not scheduled in until 10 30 am. They did arrive at 10 45 am and they were also traveling with another trucker that had a dog kennel as well so they would help each other to unload. It was great to see them and getting that kennel off the truck and to the place that it needed to be took some time but it was very interesting. I have attached a couple of pictures

This is the kennel in its proper place
They did not get done until almost 3 00 pm and then left for Sacramento but I think they were just going as far as Bakerfield for the day. It was so good to see them.
