08/14/18 - On 8/13, Daniel and I ran some errands which included parts for the repair of my shower. They did not have the exact part but Daniel is of the opinion that he might be able to manipulate the part to fit. In the afternoon, Daniel, Deborah and I went back behind the chicken house where two row of trees (I think they are a form of a pine tree) since Daniel discovered that two trees were damaged from bag worms and the fastest way to get rid of them is to pick them off the tree and burn them. They are inside of the shape of a pine cone so you don't feel them while picking them off the tree. We later learned more trees were infected so we picked them off quite a few of the trees. I have attached a picture of our collection before the burning!!
Bag Worms
Today, Daniel, Mary Ann and I went with a senior group to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to a Sight and Sound Theatre. The play was on the adult life and ministry of Jesus. It was an excellent play. We then had a buffet late lunch/early dinner before returning home. It was a nice day. I then worked a little on the 2000 piece puzzle and we are almost finished with it. Now time to get to bed.

Hi Aunt Lena, we had bag worms just like that in our windbreak....the fastest an easiest way to get rid of them is to spray your trees!! Im afraid it would be hard to get them all by picking them off!! Our whole wind break had em last year an our trees were actually dying, then Galen sprayed them twice an it took care of them ...this year they all greened up nice an are looking real good !
Thanks Kate, Daniel is trying to find the spray that you used to spray the trees. I was out there on the other day and they do look much better than they did but we still see some so spraying definitely has to be done.
