3/2/17 - On 3/1, Aunt Esther and I prepared to leave Fort Pierce and drive to Bradenton.  Every thing was going well and plans were to leave by 10 00am.  We hooked up the car and when I was ready to pull out the one leveler in the back would not totally come up and so there was a warning light and buzzer going off so we worked a while to get it to go up and even a neighbor came over to help but nothing was working.  On our way out, there was a RV sales, parts and services place so we stopped off there to see if they had any suggestions.  They tried a jack to see if they could force it up but no luck.  They suggested that we drive over to La Mesa RV because they were much bigger and maybe could give me some suggestions.  I was also told that it would not be much out of my way so we drove over there to learn that they were so busy that no one had any time to even look and what I described they informed me that it would be quite the job.  So we decided to do the 141 miles with the stupid buzzer constantly going off.  We arrived around 3 00pm and it was 88 degrees with humidity so we got warm very quickly.  We thought we could drive straight into the space since there is no one behind us but soon we got totally stuck with a tree on one side and the end of another RV on the other side, so just backed out straight and then drove around and backed in the RV.  I worked on getting the RV leveled while Aunt Esther worked on the electric hook up, water and sewer.  I had it all leveled with the leveler that would not work before now working when I went out to check and the ground is so soft or sandy, I dug this great big hole in the back and in the front.  So soon had to start over.  I covered the holes with dirt, went looking for some big rocks to put down before I put my wood on top and tried it again.  The one in the front worked kinda OK (it still dug a little bit of a hole) but the back one was completely covered up.  I then used the one wood from the other back leveler that I really don't need to use and so I put dirt, stones, and two wood things and it still dug some up finally enough that I was OK with it.  I went back to the office to sign in and complained about the dirt but she stated they had some bricks I could use so plan to do that tomorrow since it will be alot cooler than today and further more I plan to not do much because of all the action yesterday.

Because of all the problems, I was a half and hour late for dinner plans in Sarasota that I had made a couple of days earlier.  I quickly called them and informed them I would be late, took a quick shower, got dress and off to Sarasota.  I met my first cousins at the Der Dutchman restaurant and had soup since I wanted a big piece of pie.  They had fresh strawberry pie so I got one and bought it home for Aunt Esther.  The first cousins were Albert, Ida Fay, Menno and Verna.  Menno and Verna are visiting from Northern Ohio and Albert and Ida Fay live in Sarasota.  It was a good evening and a little short since I was late but was good to see them even though I was so tired.  Got back and soon decided to watch some TV and go to bed.

Today, it is a little warm and very hot for Aunt Esther but we have a fan going and do have a little breeze so have not started the air conditioner as of yet.  Today we are expecting it to be 82 degrees with lots of humidity and tomorrow only 74 degrees.  So now I plan not to do much today at all.
