Today, I helped my brother (Daniel) store some bales of hay that had been baled off of his field on Thursday. He gave me explicit instructions and we got the job done. I am attaching two pictures:

6/13/15 - On 6/12, I picked some more peas and since the spinach was going to seed, I pulled those plants out as well. Did a little weeding in the lima bean patch and then decided it was too hot. We have decided to let the asparagus patch go to seed for next year. We then decided to go out for a steak dinner at the Texas Roadhouse and it was delicious.

I sure do wish those pictures were closer up, Lena! You are turning into a regular farmer girl. It's really a return to your roots.
I don't know what we would have done without your help during these three weeks. Once again, you got more than you signed up for at Shady Acres, but OH! We are so glad to have you!
I have so enjoyed my stay.
